Montana State went 15-1 last year but lost most of its top players (14 starters gone). They're working in a new quarterback. The program hasn't stepped up in competition since 2022, when they lost to Oregon State, 68-28, allowing 538 yards. Oregon is off a 13-0 regular season. A senior offensive line will block for RB Noah Whittington (540 yards) and Tulane transfer Makhi Hughes, who ran for 1,401 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2024. Plus, there is ample skill position talent with TE Kenyon Sadiq and freshman WR Dakorien Moore, the top-ranked wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class. The defense has one of the best pass-rushing tandems in the country with Matayo Uiagalelei and Teitum Tuioti. Play Oregon.
