Michigan at Oklahoma

Michigan hopes to upgrade a weak offense from 2024 with freshman QB Bryce Underwood. He got his feet wet last week, throwing for 251 yards against New Mexico. The defense is easily the strength of the team, led by DEs T.J. Guy and Derrick Moore. The Wolverines are on a 5-2 run UNDER the total on the road. Oklahoma Coach Brent Venables is a defensive guy, and it showed as last year the offense was awful, ranked 97th in points scored, 93rd on third-down, 113th in total offense, and 119th in passing yards. New QB John Mateer is working with inexperienced playmakers, and the ground game ran for just 103 yards (3.2 yards per carry) in the opener against Illinois State.
