Michigan State at Maryland

Michigan State has two big wins over Michigan and Northwestern, but the rest of the season has been a disaster. Most of its losses have been blowouts and it wasn't much better losing to Penn State 39-24 on Saturday after leading 21-10 at halftime. Coach Mel Tucker was off to bad start to begin with getting hired late, and then the season was shut down for awhile. The teams added this game to make up for previous cancellations, and Maryland would like to finish the season at .500. The Terrapins come off a brutal overtime loss to Rutgers. Jake Funk ran for 180 yards for Maryland, which was decimated by penalties after halftime. Eric Najarian went 12 of 23 for 218 yards and two touchdowns and no picks for Maryland. The Spartans are 2-10 ATS as underdogs and 3-12 ATS their last 15 conference games and 6-18 ATS their last 24 games overall. The Terrapins have the clear motivational advantage. Play Maryland.
