HAWAII BOWL - Hawaii is 6-7, but an additional bowl game was approved last month, allowing the Rainbow Warriors to stay home and play in the Hawaii Bowl against Memphis. So along with the home-field advantage, Hawaii gets to face a team that lost six of its last nine games, including a 2-7 ATS record in that span. The Tigers did manage a 33-28 win over Tulane in the regular-season finale, but they still didn't cover the 5.5-point spread. Hawaii won its last two games at home against Colorado State and then 38-14 at Wyoming as a 13-point underdog. The Rainbow Warriors are an underdog in this matchup because QB Chevan Cordeiro and running back Dae Dae Hunter entered the transfer portal, but backup QB Brayden Schager has played in five games this season and completed 65 of 108 for 615 yards. Memphis is just 4-8 ATS, but it does have a solid QB in Seth Henigan, who threw for 3,322 yards and 25 TDs this season. The Memphis defense, though, is #96 in the country and is vulnerable, even against a backup quarterback. The Tigers are 2-9 ATS their past 11 December games, 1-5 ATS their last six bowl games, and 3-12 ATS following a win. Memphis is also 11-5 UNDER its last 16 games overall, and the UNDER is 7-1 in Hawaii's last eight games after an ATS win (7-3 UNDER following any win). Play Hawaii and the UNDER.
