Massachusetts at Central Michigan

The UMass Minutemen came close to winning for the first time last week, but in the end, it was just another loss. UMass is 0-7 on the season and is a big dog this week playing at Central Michigan. UMass is a hard pill to swallow here, no matter how many points they are given. The UMass offense showed some positive signs last week vs. Buffalo, another MAC team. It's been a mixed bag for the 4-3 Chippewas as they opened the season with a big 16-14 win as a 14-point dog at San Jose St., but lost to Akron as a -7.5 favorite. This game looks like a sleepy one for Central Michigan, as I'm sure getting up for this type of game is unlikely. UMass continues to fight and is getting better. Make the play on UMass.
