Maryland at Rutgers

Rutgers is giving up 37 points per game in its six Big Ten Conference matchups - and that's not having to play Ohio State or Indiana. Now the Scarlet Knights get Maryland. The Terrapins are stepping down in class after losing, 55-10, to second-ranked Indiana. Maryland trailed, 20-10, in the third quarter before Indiana began to pile it on. The Terrapins are 4-4, but that record could be better. Their three other losses were all by one score: 24-20 to Washington, 34-31 to Nebraska, and 20-17 to UCLA. Maryland led Washington, 20-0, late into the third quarter. Rutgers lost to that same Washington team, 38-19, the following week. The Terrapins have revenge for a loss last season to Rutgers after beating the Scarlet Knights three consecutive times. Both teams need this victory to keep their bowl hopes afloat. Maryland coach Mike Locksley could be coaching for his job, though. The Terrapins are the fresher team as they had a bye two weeks ago.
