LSU at Vanderbilt

The Vanderbilt Commodores are typically at or near the bottom of the SEC, but they have shown significant improvement. They come into this game at 5-1 and ranked #17. This will be a big test for both teams and a game with playoff implications. LSU has an elite defense, but Vandy isn't far behind. They are separated by just 16 yards a game allowed by their opponents. Offensively, Vanderbilt has clearly outplayed LSU, producing almost 100 yards per game more than the Tigers. The Tigers, however, have won at Clemson on the road and played Ole Miss to a 5-point game also on the road. They are competent and well-tested on the road. Vanderbilt has five wins against teams that really did not contest them. Then, last week, they lost to Alabama 30-16. Vanderbilt has had a good start to their season, but they have not proven that it can play against the big teams and win. Make the play on LSU on the moneyline.
