Illinois at Iowa

The Iowa Hawkeyes seem to always be a player short of breaking through for a Big-10 Championship. They ran the table in 2015 with a 12-0 regular season, but fell short to Michigan State 16-13 in the Big-10 Championship game, and also lost their Bowl game. They are off to a 3-2 start and already have had back-to-back heartbreaking losses. I think this team is going to have a tough time bringing the "A" game after two physically demanding, and emotionally deflating close losses. Illinois has not been a factor in the Big-10 in about 15 years, but are off to a 2-2 start after losing nine games last year. They may have enough to survive a huge line here, as Iowa has Northwestern, Minnesota, Ohio State, and Wisconsin in their next four games, and could be in for a serious "breather alert" here for this one.
