Georgia Tech vs. BYU

Georgia Tech doesn't have much momentum coming into the Pop-Tarts Bowl, having lost three of its last four games, including a 16-9 loss to rival Georgia, while wasting a tremendous defensive effort in the regular-season finale. The Yellow Jackets are 1-4 ATS in their past five December games. BYU has won 13 of its past 15 games, and it is on a current 6-2 ATS run. It's only two losses this season were to Texas Tech, and the Cougars averaged 36.5 points in their other games. The Cougars have covered seven non-conference games in a row, and they are 7-0 ATS after totaling fewer than 170 yards passing in their previous game. BYU has bounced back to cover five of its past six following a loss by at least 20 points. The Cougars have virtually a full roster with no opt-outs or transfers. BYU freshman QB Bear Bachmeier will be matched up with Georgia Tech QB Haynes King. Bachmeier has thrown for 2,708 yards and 14 TDs with six interceptions.
