Georgia Southern at USC

The Georgia Southern Eagles were overmatched in their opener, losing to Fresno St. 42-14. They hit the road again with an even bigger challenge as they face USC. USC will go with QB Jayden Maiav, and he went 3-1 a year ago when he replaced Miller Moss. He has some high-end receivers to work with, and Coach Lincoln Riley has improved the OL. Georgia Southern projects well in a wide-open Sun Belt Conference this season, but when they have to go outside the conference and on the road vs. a high-quality team, they are not ready to compete. USC exploded last week vs. Missouri St. in a 73-13 win. This offense should go up and down the field again for another easy win. Make the play on USC.
