Florida International at Western Kentucky

Western Kentucky will host Florida International tonight in some midweek NCAAF action. The Hilltoppers are off to a 5-1 start, and could become bowl-eligible with a win. Western Kentucky has played a relatively easy schedule, and the only tougher game they have faced came in a 45-21 loss to Toledo, where they allowed over 500 yards of offense. Florida International has had a lot of problems holding onto the ball, committing 11 turnovers in its five games, with a high of five last week against UConn. These teams have played similar weak schedules, and the line appears high here, as stats do not separate them at a double-digit level. A lot of the line is based on FIU allowing 51 points last week, with the five turnovers. This doesn't occur often, but when a team commits five or more turnovers in their previous game while allowing more than 50 points, they have covered the number at a 60% rate in their next game.
