Florida is a big underdog in the Las Vegas Bowl, largely due to its quarterback situation as Anthony Richardson left school after declaring for the NFL Draft and backup Jalen Kitna was kicked off the team. Therefore, Jack Miller III will start for the Gators and he is a former backup to C.J. Stroud at Ohio State. Miller is the leading candidate to be next year's starting quarterback. Oregon State's QB, Ben Gulbranson, began the season as the backup and took over as the starter when Chance Nolan suffered a neck injury on Oct. 1 ending his season. Damien Martinez has run for 970 yards on 6.1 yards per carry for the Beavers. Florida coach, Billy Napier, is in his first season with the Gators, but he won his last three bowl games while coaching UL Lafayette, including 36-21 over Marshall in last year's New Orleans Bowl and covering by 11.5 points. Oregon State played in its first bowl game since 2013 and lost 24-13 to Utah State last year. This will be Napier's fifth bowl appearance and the second for Oregon State coach Jonathan Smith. Florida has covered four of its past five games and will rally around its new quarterback. The Beavers are in letdown mode after defeating Oregon with a huge fourth-quarter comeback in the regular season finale. Play Florida ATS (Max Play), and on the moneyline.
