Florida Atlantic had a rough time in its lone road game, losing at Maryland, 39-7, turning it over six times. They've used five quarterbacks in two games, combining for six TDs and picks. There are a lot of new faces on the roster after a 3-9 campaign. The Owls have gone 4-12 in American Athletic Conference action and are on a 5-20 straight-up run on the road. Florida International brought in a terrific coach in Willie Simmons, who has never had a losing season in eight years. Junior QB Keyone Jenkins is back after throwing 22 touchdowns and eight picks last season. The offensive line is above-average (4.7 ypc this season), and the running back depth is very good with Kejon Owens (149 yards, 5.7 ypc) and Devonte Lyons (5.8 ypc).
