Eastern Washington at Washington

Washington has won its first two games by a combined 10 points, hardly the offensive explosion the Huskies' talent level would suggest, but Eastern Washington brings exactly the kind of pace that should change that tonight. The Eagles are averaging 28 points a game and have hit at least 20 in every game they've played, including a 34-point outing on the road against South Dakota, even while their own defense has been leaky enough to allow 33 points a game across three contests. Washington's defense has been stingy against two Football Bowl Subdivision opponents so far, but neither Washington State nor Utah State plays at the tempo Eastern Washington does, and a Huskies offense that's shown it can win two close games should find more room against a defense that's already proven it can be beaten. Real dollars are backing this number more than the ticket count alone suggests, and between an Eastern Washington offense that scores against everybody and a Washington team that should finally pull away from a lesser opponent, both sides have a path to points.
