Eastern Michigan at Central Michigan

Eastern Michigan coach Chris Creighton has transformed the program from one of the worst in the country to a competitive MAC Conference team. Over the past three+ seasons the Eagles have 22 wins. Compare that to 23 wins over the previous 10 seasons. The offense lost a lot of pieces from last season, but the defense and what remains to the offense has kept this team competitive. Central Michigan has lost a pair of QBs and will likely try a conservative approach here as they have managed just 15 or fewer points  in three of its five games on the season. This is a natural in-state rivalry and intensity, which usually means defense, should rule the day. Play on the UNDER.
