Duquesne at Toledo

Duquesne played two FBS schools in 2023 and lost by a combined score of 122-24 to West Virginia and Coastal Carolina. They games each went OVER by 17 points. The Dukes did make the FCS Playoffs and were routed 40-7 by Youngstown State. The Dukes allowed 30.6 points per game last season. Duquesne does have a standout quarterback in Darius Perrantes, who set career highs with 2,324 passing yards and 21 TD passes. The Dukes also added tight end Noah Canty, who finished the 2023 season with 272 receiving yards and two TDs. Toledo has gone OVER four of its past five August games and it averaged 32 points per game in 2023. The Rockets lost a ton of talent to the transfer portal and they return only four defensive starters. However, they should have no trouble scoring against the Dukes. Take the OVER.
