Duke (1-3 ATS) got flattened by Illinois (45-19) and failed to cover in its only road game, losing at Tulane, 34-27. They survived last week against NC State, 45-33, despite allowing 535 yards. Tulane put up 426 yards on them, while Illinois had 419 yards. Duke has a good offense, but so does Syracuse with QB Steve Angeli (10 TDs, 2 INTs), averaging 424.3 total yards. Syracuse has one defeat, to No. 24 Tennessee, and comes off a 34-21 win at Clemson as a +17 underdog. Syracuse is on a 7-5-1 run, including 3-1-1 ATS at home. They're also on a 7-4 ATS run as a dog.
