Connecticut at Syracuse

The UConn Huskies had a breakout season a year ago, finishing the season at 9-4. That tied for the most wins with the 2007 team. The Huskies have gone independent in football, and the schedule is a joke. They have an easy schedule, and despite the 9-4 record last year, they lost to a 4-8 Maryland team 50-7. Syracuse isn't the powerhouse it once was, but it remains a power conference team with superior athletes, speed, and strength. Syracuse has won the last three meetings by a combined score of 130-59. The Huskies are getting too much credit for beating up on a low-level Central Connecticut State team in their opener. This is a whole different story. Make the play on Syracuse.
