The last three meetings and eight of the last nine have gone UNDER between these rivals, including a 44-7 blowout win by Colorado last year that still stayed UNDER by five points. Colorado has gone UNDER five straight against Mountain West Conference teams and the Buffaloes are 8-2 UNDER their last 10 games overall. Colorado will miss quarterback Sefo Liafau, who left for the NFL, but it comes off its best season in several years as coach Mike Macintyre enters his fifth year with the school. Colorado State was 7-6 and returns eight starters on defense, including three linemen. This total is inflated due to Colorado State's big win over Oregon State last week as Nick Stevens finished 26-of-39 for 334 yards with an interception. The Rams gave up 152 rushing yards, however, 75 yards came on a touchdown by Oregon State's Ryan Nall. Colorado State has a young defense, but still has enough experience and figures to improve as the season goes on. Look for the lower-scoring trend in this series to continue and take the UNDER.
