In case you haven't been paying attention, rebuilding Colorado is the only unbeaten team in the Pac-12 South with a 2-0 record. Three quarterbacks have combined for 14 TDs, and two INTs, with Sefo Liufau and Steven Montez both completing over 63% of their passes. Colorado is #19 in the nation in passing, #16 in scoring (43.2 points per game). Colorado was a two-touchdown dog, but won at Oregon (41-38), then blasted Oregon State (47-6) last week. Their lone defeat was at mighty Michigan, even leading 28-24 in the third quarter as a +18 dog. Colorado ranks in the top 10 nationally in plays of 30 yards or more. It has had seven plays go for 50 yards or more, tying for fifth. The Buffaloes have covered five of their last six road contests and face a dysfunctional and disappointing USC squad. The Trojans had great expectations, but have stumbled with a losing start for the new coach, on a 3-8 spread run. USC comes off a victory but the Trojans are 8-25 ATS when following a straight-up win. The dog has more than enough offense and confidence to keep this close. Play Colorado.
