Cincinnati at Syracuse

I was surprised to see this one posted with a total hovering around the 50-point mark. Cincinnati opened the soft part of their schedule by displaying some offense, averaging nearly 50 points per game in their first four contests, but once they got into the meat of their schedule, they are now 6-1 to the UNDER over their last seven games. Syracuse also had some breakout offensive numbers in their out-of-conference games, but once they got into the meat of their schedule in the Big East, they have struggled to move the ball. Their last three games show the offense on the decline at just 16 ppg. The Bearcats have been at their defensive best as a favorite resulting in six straight UNDER the total, while the Orange has dug-in after a bye week to post a 7-1 UNDER mark in their last eight after a week of rest. In their last eight meetings these clubs have followed that trend with seven of the last eight failing to make the total. The UNDER is the pick.
