There is no doubt that these are a pair of explosive offenses, and the total reflects that as it's posted well into the 60s. There are concerns that Cincinnati QB Gunner Kiel may not pass concussion protocol for this game after suffering a head injury last game, and the replacement did not move the ball very well. This being a short week would make me think that a dinged up Cincinnati offense, perhaps with an inexperienced and unproven QB, may in fact turn to the ground game, and try to shorten the game. Memphis can score often, but getting close to 70 in this game, under the circumstances, is not likely. Cincinnati's offense has not been as fluid on short rest, as 11 of their last 15 Thursday night contests have fallen short of the total. This one stays UNDER.
