Charlotte has had a tough schedule but comes off a 22-7 loss at No. 25 Florida as a +28 underdog. They also covered as a big dog at Maryland. SMU is a huge favorite despite going 7-5 last year and 2-2 this season. The Mustangs lost star QB Tanner Mordecai in the offseason, transferring to Wisconsin. They've used four quarterbacks already and second-leading rusher L.J. Johnson Jr. (ankle) is questionable to play.
