Charlotte at Rice

It has already been a long season for Charlotte who enters this game at a woeful 1-7. There is a glimmer of improvement however as the 49er's defense has gotten somewhat better. They have held each of their last two opponents to the lowest amount of points of any game they have previously played all season. Rice is not a big offensive team in terms of scoring. They average just 26.3 PPG against FBS opponents, and they prefer to run the ball which eats up the clock. Rice in their wins has run the ball 39 times a game, and taking on a poor Charlotte team I think they will be well into the 40s in this one. I like this one UNDER the total.
