Charlotte at Army

Army's stunning win over Kansas State earlier in the season has overvalued the Black Knights as they still are just 2-3 straight up and ATS, including a loss to Tarleton State as a 14-point favorite in the season opener. They do come off a 31-13 victory over UAB, racking up their usual 200-plus yards rushing on 4.0 yards per carry. Army completed only two passes for 48 yards against the Blazers, who totaled 362 yards of offense themselves. Army is 0-5 ATS in its past five games following an ATS win, 1-4 ATS after allowing fewer than 20 points in its previous game, and 4-8 ATS in its past 12 games overall. Charlotte is 11-3-2 ATS in its past 16 road games, and the 49ers are looking for their first win over an FBS team in Tim Albin's first year as head coach. They are 3-0-1 ATS in their past four road games against teams with losing home records, and Army has lost both its home contests this season. Charlotte is 6-1 ATS in its past seven as an underdog of at least 17 points. Charlotte QB Zach Wilcke was 14 of 18 for 150 yards and two TDs with one pick against South Florida last week, but the 49ers will have to at least somewhat contain Army's running game.
