Washington at San Antonio

This line is a bit puzzling to me as the San Antonio Silver Stars are 16-16 for the season and has already clinched a playoffs spot in the West. This is a team that took the WNBA by storm opening the season at 7-1, but has disappeared since, having gone 9-15. This team has had trouble winning when they needed to and the games mattered, so I don't expect much from them here where this game becomes meaningless. Washington's season has been over for a long time. They have won just six games on the season after winning the East a year ago. Games like this tend to have you throw out past results because the Silver Stars are taking a breath here playing in their first game after clinching. I expect a lackluster effort, so Washington gets the call.
