Toronto at Dallas

Toronto covered as a 15-point road dog Monday in Atlanta, losing by 12 in a game where the Tempo offense kept trading buckets deep into the fourth quarter, and that competitive streak is worth remembering against a number this much tighter. Dallas is a good team at 13-8, but it isn't the kind of team that should be laying double-digit points to anybody, and Marina Mabrey gives Toronto a legitimate go-to scorer at 21.1 points a game, tops among either roster here. Toronto shoots the three well, 36.5 percent as a team, and has shown it can hang shot for shot even in a loss. Dallas leans on Paige Bueckers, who's been excellent, but this Wings team hasn't separated itself enough from the pack to be favored by nearly double digits. Take Toronto on the spread tonight.
