Phoenix at Connecticut

Phoenix was embarrassed at New York Sunday, losing by 20 points to the lowly Liberty, so expect the Mercury to come out with a chip on their shoulders for this one against Connecticut. The Mercury shot just 37.5 percent against New York and scored only 27 points in the first half. This also is a revenge game for Phoenix as it blew a 13-point lead with 6:30 left in the fourth quarter in the last meeting and was outscored 24-7 and lost to the Sun although the Mercury covered the seven-point spread. Phoenix has covered four of five playing with one day of rest and it is 5-2 ATS the last seven meetings at Connecticut. The Sun is coming off an overtime loss against Chicago on Sunday. Make it a Max Play on the Mercury ATS, and book a half-unit on the moneyline.
