Phoenix at Atlanta

The Atlanta Dream have played poorly over their last 11 games where they are just 2-9. But when you consider that they had such a huge lead in the weak Eastern Conference with no one in pursuit, it really could all be tied into a lack of motivation. That should all change tonight as they take on the WNBA's best team in the Phoenix Mercury. Phoenix has been nearly flawless of late, but now that they put a wrap on the best record in the WNBA and sealed the #1 seed throughout the playoffs, this team could be in for a letdown on the road tonight. Atlanta is likely to turn it up a notch as a win here would certainly leave this team feeling good about itself for the playoffs, which start next week.
