New York at Indiana

Despite limping down the stretch, the Fever held off Connecticut tied for first, and took the No.  1 seed for this series. The Fever finished the season leaking oil, dropping five of their last seven games outright. A defense that was solid most of the season that allowed teams to reach the 80-point mark just eight times prior to the final seven-game swoon, saw them yield 80+ in six of the seven with opponents averaging 83.7 points per game. The playoffs are always about defense, and the over their last 10 games (overtime not included) the Liberty have allowed 80+ just one time. The Liberty have been at their best with 3+ days of rest at 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight and have at least enough to hang inside the number here. Play on New York.
