The Sparks went 1-2 at home this week, giving up 104 to Dallas before closing with a comfortable win over Portland. On the road now against a young Seattle team with a crowd behind them, they bring that same inconsistent defense. The Storm are 3-10 in a genuine rebuild: every veteran scorer from last season is gone, and four-time All-Defensive center Ezi Magbegor has yet to suit up after a foot injury expected to sideline her into June. None of that is ideal. But the young roster hasn't stopped competing — Seattle led Minnesota by 8 after the first quarter of their last road loss before the Lynx eventually pulled away. In a single game at home against a Sparks squad still sorting out its defensive rotations, there's real variance here. At these odds, the Storm need to win roughly three times in ten to show a long-term profit. The market has LA as a clear favorite on the road against a rebuilding team, but Seattle competes hard at home. Side with the Storm at this price.
