Los Angeles at Seattle

This will be an emotional game for the home team. It's the home opener for Seattle and they will be facing their old coach, Brian Agler, who left after last year to join the Los Angeles Sparks. LA has star Candace Parker on the roster, who averaged 19.4 points and 7.1 rebounds last year, but the two-time WNBA MVP will not play at the start of the season while resting her body after playing in Russia during the offseason. Seattle looks much better this season with two of the top picks in this year's draft after the Storm selected Notre Dame's Jewell Loyd with the #1 overall pick and traded up to take Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis from Connecticut at #3. Look for a huge effort by the new-look home team, so take Seattle in this one.
