Indiana at Portland

Portland doesn't have long to shake off a bad, 86-66, home loss to Atlanta last night. The Fire should draw a huge crowd hosting Indiana and Caitlin Clark. The Fire have not looked like a typical expansion team as they are 5-4 and own two victories against the powerful Liberty. Indiana is 4-3. The Fever are not as good as 5-2 Atlanta. The Fever are off a physical, 90-88, road loss to Golden State two days ago. Clark is third in the WNBA in scoring at 22.5 points a game. Clark, though, has committed the most turnovers per game in the league at 5.2 and is shooting only 41% from the floor. Portland has the better defensive numbers. The Fever rank 11th defensively, allowing 87.6 points per game, and are 10th in defensive field-goal percentage. Portland has the league's fifth-best 3-point defense.
