Indiana at Los Angeles

Despite having Caitlin Clark, league scoring leader Kelsey Mitchell, and center Aliyah Boston, Indiana may be overrated. Defense could be a problem for the Fever. They are 0-1 after losing, 107-104, to Dallas as a 6.5-point home favorite. Los Angeles should be much improved from its disappointing 21-23 season a year ago. The Sparks have plenty of star power, too, acquiring 10-time All-Star Nneka Ogwumike and veteran guard Ariel Atkins to go with holdover stars Kelsey Plum and Dearica Hamby. The Sparks are 0-1 after losing at home to the defending champion Aces. The timing for LA to host Las Vegas was bad, as the highly motivated Aces had just been blown out at home by the Mercury in their season opener. Ogwumike had 19 points and 10 rebounds against the Aces while Plum scored a game-high 27 points. This is Indiana's first road game. The Sparks have been at home. Take the Sparks.
