Indiana at Dallas

Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark have Indiana playing the highest-powered basketball in the league right now, and that identity travels with them to Dallas tonight. The Fever own the league's top offensive rating and have cracked the 100-point mark in seven of their last nine games, riding a five-game winning streak that includes a 98-87 win over these same Wings last Friday. Dallas has gone the other direction, dropping seven of its past nine and now without Azzi Fudd, who is done for the season after surgery was announced this week. Paige Bueckers still plays fast, but a fast team that can't get stops is the exact matchup that inflates an early number, and Indiana's shooters have been scorching enough to erase any slow start well before intermission, which makes the first-half total my play here. Last week's meeting between these two took a quarter to get going before both offenses caught fire, and I don't expect Dallas's leaky defense to hold up any better through the opening half tonight against a Fever team that's clicking on every possession.
