Indiana at Chicago

I was on Chicago's spread in a win two nights ago, the Sky closing at home behind a big second half, and they have carried that into a three-game winning streak that has them playing their best basketball of the year. Indiana walks into this one on the wrong side of the schedule, playing the second half of a back-to-back after wrapping up a five-game road trip, while Chicago has had the extra day to rest. Tired legs mean sloppy defense, and a fresher team facing a fatigued one is exactly the situational trend my board flags for tonight's total. Indiana's offense has been among the best in the league for stretches this season, and even on tired legs Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell are not the kind of names a defense wants to chase around a compressed schedule for. Chicago has been getting buckets of its own during this stretch too, riding its own hot streak into a spot where neither side figures to get stops in bunches. A gassed, high-powered offense against a team playing loose on extra rest is the shape of games that blow past the total. The OVER is the strongest number on my board tonight.
