Dallas plays its third game while winless Washington got blown out in its only game, losing at home to New York, 87-76. The Washington Mystics have a lot of problems. They are a young team with several late arrivals and the early-season absence of their 2015 leading scorer, point guard Ivory Latta (knee surgery). They shot 35.8% in the opener and got outscored in the paint by a whopping 42-22. The starters struggled and the bench was worse, combining to shoot 11-of-26. Dallas is off a winning season and has plenty of offensive punch, fifth in the league in scoring (80.5 points per game). Dallas got its new era off to a soaring start with Saturday's 90-79 win at defending Eastern Conference champion Indiana, before losing Sunday at New York in the second of a back-to-back spot, but they've had two full days of rest for this one. Dallas won here last season as the Tulsa Shock, 86-82, and is the better, deeper and more experienced team. Back Dallas on the moneyline.
