Connecticut at Minnesota

Minnesota came close to getting its first win of the season when it battled Dallas down to the wire before losing 94-89 and covering the 5.5-point spread. Kayla McBride returned after missing two games and led four double-digit scorers with 18 points, and the Lynx shot 49 percent overall and went 9-for-18 from 3-point range. The Lynx enjoyed an early 14-point lead before the Wings stormed back and took the halftime lead. Connecticut was a 12-point favorite against Indiana but was fortunate to win after shooting just 40 percent and the Fever nearly pulled out a victory even while going only 4-for-21 from beyond the arc.
