Connecticut at Atlanta

The WNBA season will open with the Atlanta Dream hosting the Connecticut Sun. Atlanta will open the season without a significant offensive gun in Tiffany Hayes. The Dream also lost one of their top players to free agency in Betnijah Laney. Renee Montgomery will also be missing as she has retired. The Dream was 7-15 last year, and since they are missing a lot of offense, it will take time to develop chemistry. The Sun will be missing a key piece on offense as Alyssa Thomas is out for the season with a torn achillies.
