Atlanta at Washington

A pair of strong offensive teams meet in Washington. Atlanta is third in the WNBA in points scored, tops in assists and on a 7-1 run OVER the total. Defense is a problem though, eigth in the league in points allowed as they prefer to run and gun.  The Dream's frontcourt features center Erika de Souza and forward Sancho Lyttle, who are averaging a combined 29.4 points and 23 rebounds. The pair totaled 26 points and 23 boards to help the Dream win their third straight with an 85-82 victory over Minnesota on Friday in a rematch of last year's finals. They came out running, getting 50 first half points. The OVER is 4-1 in the Dream's last five games playing on one days rest, plus 4-1 OVER the total against the Eastern Conference. A young Washington team is off a win putting up 79 points on Chicago while shooting 47%. They are tops in the WNBA in rebounds, and the OVER is 10-3 in the Mystics last 13 against a team with a winning record. The value here is with an uptempo first half.
