Atlanta at Washington

The WNBA playoffs open tonight with the Dream taking on the Mystics in Washington. The Mystics closed the season strong, winning their last six and also won their last five at home. They have beaten Atlanta three straight times, so I'm sure the Dream is aware of that. As intense as a playoff game typically is, I expect Atlanta to be playing with a chip here. Historically, home favorites in WNBA playoffs games have done very poorly, as the talent level in this league is pretty even. The Dream has found their way on the road where they have won each of their last four straight-up. The Mystics are the league's worst team when coming off two days rest at 6-21-1 ATS in their last 28. I like Atlanta with the points in a close game that could go either way.
