Las Vegas Aces vs Los Angeles Sparks

Los Angeles is 5-1 ATS in the past six meetings and will have motivation after being embarrassed by the expansion Golden State in a 89-81 home loss on Monday. Las Vegas also lost to the Valkyries, but they were blown out 95-68 as a 12.5-point favorite. It will take more than an incentive to bounce back from that humiliating loss because the Aces are in total disarray and lacking effort. They miss Kelsey Plum, who left for the Sparks and scored 24 points against the Valkyries. Los Angeles is also in a revenge spot after losing the first meeting this season. They got blasted by New York, 79-67, yesterday and two games ago lost 93-85 at home to Chicago as a -13.5 favorite. The defending champs are 10-15 ATS, including 5-9 ATS as double-digit chalk. Las Vegas is 3-5 ATS on the season after losing at home to Seattle, 78-65, as 7.5-point chalk. They're a big favorite again on the road against an up-and-coming L.A. squad. Las Vegas is seventh in the league in field goal shooting (41.5%). The Los Angeles frontcourt is terrific with 6-3 Dearica Hamby (20.6 ppg, 11.2 rpg) joined by rookies 6-2 Rickea Jackson and 6-4 Cameron Brink (8.2 ppg, 5.9 rpg), two of the top four picks in the draft.
