Villanova at Pennsylvania

The Big-5 gets action tonight as Penn will face a ranked Villanova Wildcats team. The Big-5 is comprised of the five Philadelphia teams that face each other each year in LaSalle, Temple, Penn, Villanova and St. Joe's. These are heated rivalry games that are usually filled with intensity. Penn had a good measuring stick game as they hung with No. 1 North Carolina on the road losing by 15, but staying well within the lofty 32 set by the odds-makers. Villanova is off to a fast start at 6-0, but has had trouble beating the big numbers as they were losers ATS as 16.5 and 17.5 favorites. This game means a lot more to Penn than it does to Nova, and you’re likely going to see the same effort the Quakers threw at North Carolina to hang tough. Nova has Texas on the radar screen as they will face them in their next game and may not give this one the attention needed to cover the big number. The Quakers hang tough and get the nod here.
