Tulsa has had a tough start, only playing one home game. And they take on a Connecticut team that is 1-1, beating a bad Washington team and failing to cover the last game in a loss to Chicago. It's no surprise Tulsa Shock coach Nolan Richardson wasn't happy with Friday's 93-62 loss to San Antonio in its home opener.  He is a competent, demanding coach asking for a better effort all around. They got a boost from former Oklahoma State guard Andrea Riley, who saw action (8 points) after missing all of training camp. This is a young team that does have talent, despite the loss of starting forward Amber Holt for four weeks (thumb), led by 19-year-old center Elizabeth Cambage, who leads the team in scoring (15.3) and rebounding (9.7). Fellow first-round draft pick Kayla Pedersen also is off to an impressive start, making two good pieces for Richardson to work with. This Connecticut team is not a powerhouse offensively, off a game at Chicago shooting 42% and they were outrebounded by 8. Chicago shot 33 for 66 (50 percent) from the field and outrebounded Connecticut 38-30.  The Connecticut Sun are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record, so grab the big dog in this one. The Shock is 8-3-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings in Connecticut. Play the Tulsa Shock!
