Tulane at Georgia State

Georgia State is known for being a tough defensive team under coach Ron Hunter and that has continued this season as the Panthers have allowed opponents just a .407 shooting percentage and 63 points per game. The Panthers look to bounce back from a bad shooting performance against Prairie View A&M when Malik Benlevi led the team with 17 points, but the Panthers were just four of 20 from 3-point range. That followed a big, 68-50 win over Eastern Washington in Las Vegas. Tulane is 5-0, but has played a weak schedule. And the Green Wave was picked to finish near the bottom of the American Athletic Conference after a 6-25 season. Tulane still is a young and inexperienced squad learning to play together.
