The Baltimore Orioles survived the rugged AL pennant race for 157 games. But with just five games remaining, they have now officially been eliminated. Esmil Rogers made a good run upon being inserted into the rotation, but he has faltered lately. That has left him a vulnerable 5-8 on the season with a 4.52 ERA. Bud Norris is pitching for his spot in the rotation next year for Baltimore, so you have to think that he will bring everything he has into his last start of the season. The Jays' inconsistency has kept them from being competitive, and that has continued late into the season as they are 0-5 in their last five when following a win. Norris has been a positive addition for the O's into the rotation as they are 6-2 in his last eight starts. Play on Baltimore.
