Race came off a 7 week freshening and the Pletcher barn brings her back quickly and shortens her up a bit in distance. Nice post, John Velazquez is aboard, and 3-year-old is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Fortheloveofanna) - Runs first off a Linda Rice claim (20%) and she brings her back in 9 days for this attempt. One-run type ran second that day as a heavy favorite in a small field. She was a "handy" winner earlier this year going 6.5 furlongs at Aqueduct, so she should like this 7/8ths trip.
3rd pick: #1 (Social Statement) - The Rick Dutrow barn is having a quiet meet but they had a winner on Wed and have this filly working fast for her first start since Feb. 16. Maiden win last fall came at this distance and she's the main speed and draws the rail. Dangerous rival.
