2nd pick: #9 (Sunshine Bandit) (9-2) - Colt is cutting back in distance and dropping into a claimer for the first time. Fits with these, and he should be competitive against this crew.
3rd pick: #6 (Donji) (5-2) - He's coming off a career best when he rallied to finish second here at this tag on Dec. 26th. It was his first without blinkers and a repeat of it makes him a win candidate.
4th pick: #3 (Captain Carchy) (6-1) - 'Captain' has finished third in three of his five starts without ever really threatening. Fits at the level and distance, and a fast and/or contested pace would help his chances out.
5th pick: #2 (Roper) (12-1) - Another that's dropping in class. He just missed in July at Los Alamitos, but hasn't yet repeated that effort. Can factor at a big price with his best.
