Top pick: #9 (TOM'S TRIBUTE) (3-1) - Very consistent sort has a tactical advantage as his outside post and stalking style fit well here. Multiple stakes winner likes this course 8-3-1-1 and son of "Lion Heart" is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #8 (Skyring) (12-1) - Longshot has early speed and is racing second back off almost a 7-month layoff. He tired in his return start after setting a quick and pressured pace and can factor today at a big price.
3rd pick: #2 (Big Bane Theory) (6-1) - He gives away a lot of experience to most entered but he does have more tactical speed than most. All four wins have come on this course and he's 2-for-3 at this distance.
4th pick: #3 (Dynamic Sky) (9-2) - He's improved since moving from the Woodbine "poly" to the grass. He's gone 6-1-2-2 since then and all have come in "graded" stakes. He won the G3 "Red Smith" on Nov. 15 at Aqueduct and will be making his west coast debut in this spot.
