2nd pick: #2 (Patriot C H) (5-2) - Lightly-raced and speedy, filly set a quick and pressured pace before tiring here sprinting for twice this price on Oct. 4. Race came off a seven week freshening and trainer Carla Gaines drops her in half and stretches her out in distance. The main danger.
3rd pick: #3 (Visions of Candy) (5-1) - Away slowly in three of her four starts, daughter of "Candy Ride" rallied to finish fourth here last out and was 4 lengths back of "Kevin's Kool Kat" at the wire. 3-year-old runs third off a 2 1/2 month break and is a stretch threat.
4th pick: #5 (Perfect Tango) (4-1) - Lightly-raced daughter of "Pleasantly Perfect" has rallied to finish fourth in both sprints and will be attempting a two-turn distance for the first time. The faster the pace, the better her chances.
